In 2005, Pharrell Williams and NIGO partnered with Reebok to launch the iconic Board Flip, the first sneaker from their ICECREAM skating line under the Billionaire Boys Club (BBC) umbrella. Designed as a skate shoe with luxury streetwear flair, the Board Flip was the official shoe of the ICECREAM skate team—featuring skaters like Terry Kennedy and Jimmy Gorecki—and was prominently featured in the team’s 2006 video Ice Cream: Vol. 1.
Twenty years later, the ICECREAM Board Flip made its triumphant return at ComplexCon 2025 in Las Vegas, with Don Toliver spearheading the project. 500 pairs of the OG “Watermelon” colorway were released at the event, where Modern Notoriety caught up with Jimmy Gorecki to discuss the revival.

Don Toliver was also at ComplexCon for the relaunch, dropping a collaborative hoodie and tee capsule with ICECREAM and sporting the Board Flip in the OG “Banana Split” colorway.

Now, the “Banana Split” serves as the second colorway in the Board Flip’s modern revival—this time as a full-fledged collaboration with Don Toliver. This version features the same yellow and purple design as the original, though the ICECREAM logos on the tongue tags have been replaced with Don Toliver branding.
Pre-orders for the Don Toliver x Reebok ICECREAM Board Flip “Banana Split” open November 5th at 12pm ET on Don Toliver’s webstore and Complex Shop. Expected shipping date is April 2026.
