Dr. Martens joins forces with Medicom Toy for the brand’s latest installment in the 1460 Remastered series in celebration of the boot’s 60th anniversary. Along with the release of the signature boot, the duo has come together to create six unique BE@RBRICK figures, each one represents a different decade of the footwear brand’s history.
The classic 1460 boot, the uppers are dressed in an eye-catching debossed pattern with a bold red “@” on the lateral sides along with custom lace dubraes. The boot includes a fleece lining, fluffy laces in two color options and all sits atop the semi-translucent sole.
The BE@RBRICK models are inspired by the last six decades of the brand ranging from the ’60s all the way to the 2010s. The ’60s and ’70s start off with punk rock designs and the ’80s move into the goth scene. For the ’90s grunge was the new look while the ’00s in inspired by Kawaii (in the context of Japanese popular culture, cute) and is finished by the modern 2010s-inspired character with a beard and tattoos.
