Universal Pictures is teaming up with PUMA for a Fast & Furious sneaker and apparel collaboration in celebration of the film franchise’s 25th anniversary and NBA All-Star Weekend.
The collection features a hoodie, jacket, sweatpants, and shorts, as well as a variety of tees. As for footwear, the lineup merges NBA star LaMelo Ball’s style with details from iconic moments in the films. It features custom editions of the MB.05, LaFrancé, and LaFrancé RNR, with each pair dedicated to a specific car from the films.
The LaFrancé RNR “Charger” comes dressed in all-black with chrome accents, paying tribute to Dom Toretto’s Dodge Charger, while the LaFrancé “Miami” arrives in a silver-and-blue colorway with custom graphics and a Y2K attitude, nodding to Brian O’Conner’s Nissan Skyline.
Next up in the speedy lineup is the all-over-pink MB.05 “Miami” edition, inspired by Suki’s iconic Honda S2000 from 2 Fast 2 Furious. The pair is finished off with molded barbed wire and floral graphics. Lastly, the “LA” colorway of Melo’s MB.05 reimagines the shoe in bright orange with flame graphics, paying homage to Brian’s Toyota Supra.
To celebrate the launch, PUMA Hoops will be hosting a pop-up experience at 1046 S Figueroa St. in Los Angeles during NBA All-Star Weekend from February 12th through February 15th. The pop-up will feature interactive product displays of the entire sneaker lineup, limited-edition merchandise giveaways, and more. Attendees will be able to shop the collection through PUMA’s wholesale partners, Foot Locker and Shoe Palace.
The Fast & Furious x PUMA collection will be available on February 12th via PUMA.com and select retailers such as Foot Locker and Shoe Palace. Check out the footwear lineup below.
