Feid and Salomon are back with their third collaborative release, this time introducing the ACS NEXXT: The Green Star by Feid, arriving in a predominantly black colorway with flashes of the Colombian artist’s signature Ferxxo green.
The shoe takes a darker approach than its name might suggest. A black upper is broken up by layered panels and a cage-like structure, while flashes of green run through the outsole and branding. The result is a fairly understated colorway until you get to the bottom, where things become much more Ferxxo.
The outsole features a cow-print pattern in the artist’s signature green, a nod to the visual identity he’s carried throughout his music and creative projects. Meanwhile, iridescent chrome details add a little shine to the otherwise dark construction. Even the woven tongue label gets a personal touch, featuring Feid’s hand-drawn signature.
Unlike Feid’s previous collabs with Salomon on the XT-4 and XT-Pathway 2, this project introduces a new model created specifically for the partnership. The ACS NEXXT carries some familiar DNA from the brand’s ACS franchise, including its Agile Chassis System and protective caged upper, and uses it as a foundation for Feid to build something totally new.
Before the wider release, Salomon is bringing the collaboration to Queens, New York, with a dedicated pop-up running October 2-4. Those hoping to secure a pair through the event can enter the online raffle until October 1 at 12 PM EST. Winners will receive the opportunity to purchase the sneakers online and pick them up at the pop-up.
The Salomon x Feid ACS NEXXT: The Green Star by Feid will release globally on October 10th via select retailers and a raffle on the Salomon website that runs from October 5th-8th. Check out the pair below.
