Foot Locker has released two new exclusive colorways of the New Balance 1000 inspired by the futuristic and bold aesthetics of the late ’90s and early 2000s.
The New Balance 1000, originally released in 1999, perfectly embodies the Y2K aesthetic with its open-mesh underlays, wavy synthetic overlays, and bold segmented sole unit. The Foot Locker-exclusive colorways of the New Balance 1000 arrive in ‘Navy/Dusk Shower/Pearl Grey/Sunfade Pink’ in men’s and boy’s grade school sizing, as well as in ‘Mineral/Sea Salt/Angora/Peach/Blossom’ in men’s and women’s sizing.
For this special release, Foot Locker and New Balance has partnered with British-Nigerian rapper Darkoo and Latin trap star Eladio Carrión, each seen rocking the exclusive colorways in the accompanying campaign.
