Footpatrol celebrated Paris Fashion Week with the unveiling of a special three-way footwear collaboration. The Europe-based sneaker boutique hosted a PFW event at their Paris store on January 23rd to showcase their new Instapump Fury project with Reebok and outdoor lifestyle brand Hiking Patrol.
The focal piece of the event was a friends-and-family exclusive edition of the Footpatrol x Hiking Patrol x Reebok Instapump Fury, dressed in a bubblegum pink colorway with hits of lighter pink on the mudguard, heels, and outsole. More than a simple color swap, the iconic laceless design by Steven Smith has also been modified on this pair. The silhouette’s signature pump button on the tongue and inflatable bladder have been replaced with a sleeker zippered overlay, giving the shoe a more modern and utilitarian feel. As a final touch, Footpatrol’s and Hiking Patrol’s logos are prominently stamped across the heels.
While most of the shelves at Footpatrol Paris had this eye-catching pink F&F colorway on display during the event, a more subdued pair dressed in neutral grey and off-white hues was also spotted. This is the retail colorway that will be released by Foot Patrol at a later date.
