Tokyo-based women’s boutique Forget-me-nots has teamed up with Nike on what might be one of the cleanest collaborations to emerge from Nike’s soccer-themed offerings ahead of the upcoming World Cup. Their canvas? The Total 90 Shox Magia, a silhouette that’s been quietly dominating the soccer conversation since its retro debut, and one that feels tailor-made for a brand built around the idea that a great pair of shoes can genuinely change how you move through the world.
The collaboration arrives in two colorways: a lush Green Gusto gradient and a soft Shy Pink fade, both of which transition from vibrant hues at the midfoot to black at the toe and heel. The satin-finished upper carries a quiet luxury, quilted in the same language as the original 2003 indoor soccer boot DNA, but dressed up in a way that reads as distinctly feminine without being precious. Chrome Shox cushioning anchors the heel, with metallic silver side panels catching light in a way that feels almost theatrical. Each pair comes boxed with three swappable lace options, giving the opportunity to personalize the look straight out of the box.
Forget-me-nots built the collaboration around the concept of “Rhythm of Liberation,” drawing direct inspiration from the uninhibited energy of Brazil’s Rio Carnival and the idea that movement and self-expression are inseparable. Floral detailing on the insoles reinforces the brand’s whole ethos: the forget-me-not flower, a bloom tough enough to push through asphalt, serves as a symbol of strength, independence, and perseverance.
For Forget-me-nots, this marks the boutique’s second Nike chapter following its 2023 Jordan Air Ship collab, and the jump in ambition is noticeable. Where that first project was restrained and polished, this one swings. The T90 Shox Magia is already a maximalist silhouette by nature, and FMN fully embraces that energy here.
