Original Story (01/08/21): In 2010, Hiroshi Fujiwara and Nike collaborated on a trio of Dunk High colorways that paid homage to the cities of Beijing, New York, and London. This “City Pack” released exclusively at Nike Harajuku and was extremely limited. New reports now indicate that this “City Pack” will be making its return later this year.
Each of the three colorways in the original Fragment x Nike Dunk High “City Pack” featured a mismatched design and incorporated Fragment’s thunderbolt logo on the heel. The “London” pair came in a Starburst-like pink and yellow color scheme with inverted color blocking. The “Beijing” colorway opted for a black and purple color scheme, also with an inverted color scheme between the left and right shoe. Both shoes in the “NYC” pair come with a white leather base and a black Swoosh, though the overlays are red on the left shoe and black/navy on the right.
A teaser image recently posted by Fujiwara on Instagram gives an on-foot look at a mismatched pair of Nike Dunk Highs with Fragment branding, though a black-and-white filter blocks the actual colors of the shoes. One thing to note is that this pair teased by Fujiwara incorporates style code text on the midsole, as seen in recent Fragment x Nike collabs (such as the Air Jordan 3). “FA21” is seen as part of this text, keeping in line with the rumors of a Fall 2021 release.

Update (03/17/21): Check out on-feet photos of the 2021 fragment design x Nike Dunk High “Beijing” below, courtesy of Yankee Kicks. Unlike the 2010 release, these feature the same color scheme on both the left and right shoes. Expect this colorway to drop in June, with the other two “City Pack” colorways arriving later this year.

Update (03/05/21): A possible first look at the new Fragment x Nike Dunk High “City Pack” has surfaced. A new image shows the “Beijing” colorway with text on the midsole, though this text includes “SU21,” possibly indicating a Summer 2021 release instead of Fall, though this could just be a sample pair.
