Los Angeles-based Gallery Dept. and OTW by Vans are reuniting for another Authentic 44 collaboration that highlights the beauty of imperfection and raw creativity.
Following the duo’s cream pair from last year, the new colorway arrives in classic black, the toe box serving as a blank canvas for the multicolor paint splatters that celebrate painters working in their studios and their inventive minds. Gallery Dept. founder and artist Josué Thomas visualizes the shoes as an extension of his creative process, a testament to limitless expression and unapologetic rebellion. The pair is finished with a yellow Gallery Dept. branded tag and the brand’s “Art That Kills” logo repeating on the scuff-marked midsoles.
