Hellstar and adidas Originals are taking their partnership past footwear with the Megaride FW26 Collection, a full range built around the Megaride silhouette that now includes apparel.
The Hellstar Megaride first appeared this August, becoming the duo’s first global release in a flame-covered off-white and black colorway. This follow-up collection gives that early-2000s-inspired runner a new colorway and a full wardrobe.
Following an early drop at ComplexCon, the second Hellstar Megaride S2 is now getting a full release, arriving in a black-to-red fade with flame graphics running across the zipper-equipped upper. The shoe shows up throughout the moody yet playful campaign, worn under diamond-pattern tights and with Renaissance-style gowns, grounding the more theatrical looks in something recognizable.
On the apparel side, a navy track jacket carries a large graphic on the back, a flaming profile inside a circle with a star, bordered by the jacket’s three stripes down the sleeves and hood, and accompanying it is a track pant to match. A black tee shows a faded, star-flecked adidas Trefoil rendered in flame form above the Hellstar name. Oversized, stone-washed grey sweats appear as a matching hoodie-and-pant set, worn loose with the sneaker. To round things out, the collection includes an embellished beanie. Overall, distressing and raw-edge detailing run through the pieces, with the track suit, hoodie and sweats all built oversized
