Fashion and sporting goods retailer Hibbett has partnered with adidas to unveil the “State Fair” Superstar, a shoe dedicated to the city of Dallas and inspired by the rich flavors and ambiance of a longstanding Texas tradition.
Limited to 1,320 pairs, the “State Fair” Dallas Superstar II is designed to capture the essence of the State Fair of Texas, a historic annual event in Dallas that has celebrated Texas culture since 1886. The shoe features a bold blue leather upper embossed with cowboy-inspired details, while red and white accents complete the Texan flag color palette. Key details include a graphic of the iconic State Fair Ferris wheel on the left tongue, Dallas star motifs stamped on the heels, and belt buckle-style lace dubrae featuring the adidas Trefoil wearing a cowboy hat, adding to the Western aesthetic. Additional nods to Dallas and the State Fair are hidden throughout, including corn dog and Ferris wheel motifs on the insides of the shoes and a Texas state silhouette printed on the bottoms of the translucent outsoles.

To celebrate the launch of the “State Fair” Superstar, a public unveiling will be held on September 20th from 2-8pm at Hibbett, 1441 Robert B. Cullum Blvd., Dallas TX 75210. The community event promises fun for the whole family, with photo opps, giveaways, Texas-themed cowboy hats, DIY bolo ties, sheriff badges, Superstar sneaker mechanical bull-style rides, hoops, ring toss, music, promotions and more — along with on-site try-ons and purchasing opportunities for the “State Fair” Superstar.
