“Pokémon Made” is back for a second collection. NIGO’s Human Made reunites with Pokémon for a follow-up to last year’s debut collaboration, featuring returning characters Pikachu and Farfetch’d, with Magikarp joining this season’s lineup.
Coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the popular gaming and anime franchise, Pokémon Made Collection 2 is headlined by a Farfetch’d utility jacket equipped with a back pocket designed to store the accompanying plush leek accessory, which NIGO shared as a first look teaser for the collection.
The 15-piece lineup also includes a Farfetch’d bomber jacket, a denim jacket featuring a Pikachu graphic on the back, and an open-collar rayon shirt adorned with Magikarp, whose whiskers form the shape of a heart.
The range is rounded out with graphic tees, glassware, and other accessories such as socks, a coin pouch, and a Pikachu pen. There are also charm keychains of each featured Pokémon, with a rare shiny Magikarp making a surprise cameo.
Farfetch’d was selected as a featured Pokémon to represent the shared creative philosophy between NIGO and Pokémon Company president and CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara, as the duck serves as a recurring motif throughout the HUMAN MADE universe.
The second “Pokémon Made” collection drops May 23rd on the Human Made website (11am JST) and at select HUMAN MADE retail locations in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Sapporo, Fukuoka, Kobe, Seoul, Hong Kong, and Bangkok. Check out the full offering below.
