After two decades of vintage eyewear collecting, Baltimore-based designer Davon Ford is launching his own luxury eyewear line under his In Search Of label, handcrafted in Sabae, Japan.
Dubbed, “Second Impact,” the collection features three distinct colorways: Magma, Seele, and Tokyo-3. Each pair arrives crafted from high-grade Takiron acetate, finished with 24k gold-plated hardware, and featuring a custom “ISO” logo. The Tokyo-3 frame is limited to 120 units, and the Seele is limited to 60 units. The most limited style is the Magma, with only 20 units. This limited-run adds a touch of rarity and flair, with each pair also individually numbered.
