In Search Of Celebrates 13 Years with Stadium Jacket Drop

Davon Ford's love letter to 2000s Japanese streetwear.

In Search Of’s anniversary collections have become a showcase for founder Davon Ford’s most ambitious ideas. Last year’s 12th Anniversary “Rolling Stone” MA-1 Jacket transformed his grandfather’s story into a wearable piece of family history. Now, for the brand’s 13th anniversary, Ford is turning the focus inward, channeling the Japanese streetwear labels from his childhood that first sparked his obsession with clothing.

Built as the centerpiece of the brand’s “Mr. Me Too” collection, the new ISO Stadium Jacket pays tribute to the golden era of early-2000s Japanese streetwear. Ford cites brands like BAPE, Billionaire Boys Club, and OriginalFake as the labels that shaped his taste growing up, though owning those pieces was out of reach at the time.

“This year, I wanted to do something for me,” says Ford. “When I was a kid, I was obsessed with the new wave of Japanese streetwear. BAPE, BBC/Ice Cream, KAWS/OriginalFake, Undercover, and Devilock molded my taste, informed how I would approach production and stock, and broke my heart because I couldn’t afford them. So, I’m making my own version.”

Like previous anniversary releases, the jacket is handcrafted in San Francisco by Golden Bear, a longtime American manufacturer known for producing premium varsity jackets. The body is constructed from vibrant orange melton wool paired with supple naked cow leather sleeves and pockets, creating a classic stadium jacket silhouette that immediately stands out before its biggest feature even comes into play.

The standout detail is the oversized “ISO Moonfall” chest patch, which Ford says is the first glow-in-the-dark patch ever created for a varsity jacket. He spent months working with Golden Bear throughout 2025 and early 2026 experimenting with materials, placement, and color until the effect looked just as striking in daylight as it did after dark.

The oversized patch is so large that it also determined the sizing of the jacket. Designed to stretch across nearly the entire chest, the Stadium Jacket is only available in Large, XL, and XXL, with each patch costing nearly $100 to produce. Production is also extremely limited, with just 12 jackets being made.

“The patch was made oversized to be dramatic and amplify the glow-in-the-dark effect,” Ford explains. “I’m sparing no expense to make my dreams wearable.”

For Ford, the Stadium Jacket represents the latest evolution of ISO’s anniversary tradition and the realization of an idea he’d wanted to bring to life for years.

“For the last three years, I’ve been able to bring all my ideas to life for my anniversary jackets—simplistic, bombastic, mismatched, big patches, big graphics, Pendleton wool, and now glowing in the dark,” Ford says. “The amazing team at Golden Bear takes on every challenge and executes them flawlessly. They make it so that I can say my newest jacket is my best jacket. And I really mean it, the ISO Stadium Jacket is my best work yet.”
