Taiwanese streetwear brand INVINCIBLE is back with a third colorway of its ASICS GEL-NIMBUS 10.1 collaboration dubbed “404 RGB,” a continuation of the “HTTP 404” pack released earlier this year.
The “404 RGB” GEL-NIMBUS 10.1 continues the exploration of irregularity and chaos from the first two colorways, drawing inspiration from computer crashes and 404 error screens. This time, the sneaker is presented in a “RGB” color scheme, though not the primarily colors, as the “G” stands for grey instead of green.
This red, grey, and blue colorway pays tribute to the very first INVINCIBLE x ASICS collab from 2015, the GEL-LYTE III “Formosa,” in honor of its 10-year anniversary. Grey hairy suede construction and red and blue accents are pulled from original GEL-LYTE III, paired with smooth leather and ripstop panels in layered grey tones, creating a textured, multidimensional look. Asymmetrical details such as the mismatched tongue labels and heel accents emphasize the theme of distortion and playful imbalance, while the extended tiger stripes, exposed stitching, and offset spiral logos on the toe boxes capture a “work in progress” spirit, merging refinement with imperfection.
The raffle for the INVINCIBLE x ASICS GEL-NIMBUS 10.1 “404 RGB” is now live on the INVINCIBLE website and closes on October 17th. An in-store release will take place on October 18th at INVINCIBLE locations in Asia, followed by a global release on October 19th at select retailers. Check them out below.
