Following the release of its adidas Handball Spezial collab, Taiwanese streetwear brand INVINCIBLE is now linking up with ASICS on two colorways of the GEL-NIMBUS 10.1.
Dubbed “HTTP 404,” the project reimagines the legacy running model through a lens of purposeful disruption and refined chaos—an intentional nod to absence, misalignment, and the beauty of what feels incomplete. INVINCIBLE continues its exploration of irregularity and deconstruction, challenging convention while respecting the shoe’s technical roots.
Drawing inspiration from the infamous 404 computer error, the shoe is equipped with deconstructed ASICS stripes on the side panels that extend onto the midsole with loose threads, evoking a sense of incompletion and a “work in progress” aesthetic. The shoe also features a semi-translucent ripstop toe box, allowing for socks to become a part of the design. The ASICS spiral logo follows the natural curve of the toe box, creating asymmetry between the left and right shoes.
The INVINCIBLE x ASICS GEL-NIMBUS 10.1 comes in two colorways, each based in ASICS’ signature white/silver color palette. One pair features blue accents, nodding to the BSOD (blue screen of death), while the INVINCIBLE-exclusive colorway swaps out the blue accents for green.
Both colorways of the INVINCIBLE x ASICS GEL-NIMBUS 10.1 are now available via raffle on the INVINCIBLE website that closes on July 10th. They will also be available in-store at INVINCIBLE locations in Asia on July 12th. A wider release for the blue colorway is slated for July 19th via the ASICS website and select retailers.
