After taking on the Air Jordan 1, 2, and 3, J Balvin is keeping the chronological streak alive with his upcoming take on the Air Jordan 4.

We first caught a glimpse of the Colombian superstar’s AJ4 collaboration a few months back, when he debuted the pair during a seven-hour concert in his hometown of Medellín. The sneakers feature a multicolored design that combines brown, black, green, blue, pink, orange, and red hues across the upper and sole unit. While not quite as loud as his Air Jordan 1 collab, the pair still carries the bold, expressive energy Balvin is known for.

We caught up with Balvin this weekend after his set at the Sueños music festival in Chicago, where he once again performed in the unreleased pair. Naturally, we had to get a closer look!

Uppers are constructed from premium leather with pebbling on the black panels adding some variation to the texture. Meanwhile, an added row of grommet-style metallic eyelets along the standard eyelet holes allow for additional lace configurations. A mini Swoosh has also been added to the laser orange section of the midsole on the forefoot, while the back of the heels feature Nike Air branding and an upside down version of J Balvin’s smiley face logo.

The J Balvin x Air Jordan 4 is expected to drop this fall via SNKRS and select retailers. Grab an early look below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
