Jae Tips’ Savior Worldwide Drops ’80s-Inspired “Tina” Capsule

Featuring a rugby top and fitted hat in the designer's signature bright color palette.

Jae Tips and his streetwear brand Savior Worldwide are releasing a two-piece capsule that draws from the designer’s family history and his nostalgic lens on ’80s style.

Jae pulls from a personal memory in his family archive, translating it into a wearable piece with the cut-and-sew “Tina” rugby top, which features bold yellow, blue, red, and black stripes. The design draws from a photo of his aunt in the ’80s, where she appears wearing an oversized striped shirt at home, capturing a sense of comfort and familiarity.

The second item in the capsule is a multi-paneled fitted New Era 59FIFTY hat adorned with red, turquoise, and yellow panels, inspired by the vibrant palette of Miami’s Biscayne Boulevard.

“I always draw from my own life,” says Jae Tips. “Whether it’s my family or places like Miami — they continue to shape how I see color and design.”

The accompanying campaign was shot inside a modern New York City apartment that encapsulates Jae’s Bronx roots and a relaxed, lived-in aesthetic.

The Savior Worldwide “Tina” collection is available now on the Savior Worldwide website. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for more Jae Tips news as we await the reveal of his first Nike collab.
