After several years as an adidas ambassador and campaign face, JENNIE is taking on a new role with the brand as a co-designer for her first adidas Originals collection.
Built around the concept of “Functional Grace,” the FW26 collection brings together adidas’ performance-inspired design language with the BLACKPINK member’s take on modern femininity. Ballet serves as the starting point, with traditional elements of the discipline reworked through a more futuristic and surreal lens.
That vision extends into the campaign, which places JENNIE in a dreamlike, cosmic setting inspired by the movement of a “Cosmic Ballerina.” The imagery plays with the idea of movement beyond gravity, using ballet as a metaphor for strength, power, and freedom.
The collection itself carries that same balance of softness and structure. Leading the lineup is the SUPERSTAR SQ BALLET, a pointe shoe-inspired take on the classic Superstar. The silhouette features a squared toe, premium leather construction, lambskin lining, ribbon detailing, and removable laces that offer different styling options.
The apparel lineup expands on the ballet influence with reworked track tops and pants, layering T-shirts, wrap skirts, knit wrap cardigans, sheer sleeveless bodysuits, sheer leggings, and polar fleece half-zip hoodies. High-knit leg warmers and cut-out socks round out the accessories.
“I wanted to reinterpret the classic identity of adidas Originals through my own perspective and energy,” says JENNIE. “My goal was to bring together the softness and restraint found in ballet, as well as the strength behind it, with the feeling of an endless and unknown space.”
