Salomon Sportstyle has teamed up with Korean design studio JEONG LI for their debut collaboration, offering two colorways of the XA Pro 3D that explore the harmony between nature and humanity through the lens of time.
A tribute to the original XA Pro 1 from 2001—one of Salomon’s earliest and best-selling trail running shoes—the XA Pro 3D is revamped with modern materials, an updated mesh pattern, and a 3D Advanced Chassis for stability and support.
JEONG LI’s iterations are offered in “Sierra” and “Black,” drawing inspiration from natural landscapes and the quiet beauty revealed through exploration. The design strips away the standard overlays and laces in favor of Salomon’s Quicklace system, creating a cleaner aesthetic. Meanwhile, the different hues and materials across the upper mimic the geological layers of cliffs that reveal centuries of environmental and chemical change, serving as historical canvases. A final detail—a subtle fossilized floral print on the insoles—completes the nature-inspired story.
