Montreal-based studio and fashion brand JJJJound reunites with New Balance for a “Mushroom” iteration of the 990v4, adding another entry to their fungi-inspired lineup.
Marking the fifth “Mushroom” colorway of their partnership, the JJJJound x New Balance 990v4 continues the clean muted tones and minimal aesthetic from the previous installments, dressed in an earthy brown mesh and suede upper, accented by pops of white and silver.
JJJJound founder Justin Saunders first debuted the “Mushroom” colorway in 2018 on the Made in USA 990v3, later appearing on the 992 collaboration in 2020, the Made in UK 991 in 2023, and the “Mushroom/White” 993 earlier this year (we’re still waiting on the “Mushroom/Black” Justin!).
The JJJJound x New Balance 990v4 will release exclusively via pre-order, the reservation window opening December 12th at 9am ET and available while supplies last. Orders are expected to ship during Fall 2026. Check out the pair below.
