Original Story (10/22/25): Chicago’s Joe Freshgoods returns with his 11th New Balance project, the latest installment in a culture-defining partnership where every launch is a major moment for fans and collectors alike.
This time around, the drop includes two colorways of the ABZORB 2010, a silhouette introduced earlier this year inspired by early 2000s-era running styles. Arriving in black and beige-based colorways named “Hand-Me-Downs” and “Bag Lady,” the JFG New Balance 2010 features mesh uppers with soft and cozy fabric overlays, fuzzy lace options, and chains with letter pendants spelling out “JFG.” Each pair reflects Joe’s signature storytelling — transforming everyday memories and textures into wearable art.
“I wanted this project to represent the current bag I’m in, handled with care, stitched with love. Protected with cozy. minimal branding. sexy. Aged Well felt like the final album to the saga… this is my mixtape DVD,” says JFG founder and creative director Joseph Robinson.
