The New Balance 1906L by Junya Watanabe is finally here.
The viral 1906L sneaker loafer hybrid model was first unveiled back in January during the Junya Watanabe MAN FW24 show for Paris Fashion Week. Following its official debut in the Metallic Silver colorway, the Junya Watanabe versions are now set for launch.
The New Balance 1906L puts a twist on the popular 1906R mesh runner, keeping its N-ergy shock-absorbing midsole, TPU heel counter, and side panel overlays in tact while replacing the rest of the upper with a loafer design. The Junya version replaces the mesh construction with smooth leather for a more sophisticated look, offered in “Triple Black” as well as in white with a black midsole. Junya Watanabe MAN branding appears on the tongue tags and insoles.
The Junya Watanabe MAN x New Balance 1906L drops October 18th via Dover Street Market (10am ET) and select Comme des Garçons retailers. Check out both colorways below.
