BAPE has joined forces with Japanese fashion designer Kazuki Kuraishi for a winter sportswear collection that blends urban fashion aesthetics with the functionality of alpine performance gear.

The collection introduces two new camouflage pattern iterations of the streetwear brand’s iconic camo print. DIGITAL ABC CAMO pixelates the classic ABC CAMO with pops of green from 1st CAMO, while UAP CAMO (UNIVERSAL APE PATTERN CAMO) debuts as a completely new design that cleverly hides the brand’s signature APE HEAD, Foot Soldiers logos, and BAPE lettering within the pattern. Both designs were originally created by Kuraishi 25 years ago during his tenure as a graphic designer at BAPE and are now being unveiled through functional pieces that fuse urban and outdoor sensibilities.

Comprised of distinct outerwear and footwear, the winter lineup includes a Digital ABC Camo detachable jacket, a reversible down jacket, a multi-patch shirt, an updated Shark Hoodie, and two colorways of the SHARK STA sneaker. Other pieces include tactical pants, daypacks, fleece coach jackets, knitwear, and graphic tees. Kuraishi selected lightweight, three-layer fabrics to maximize warmth and versatility, with each piece designed to perform across multiple environments. Product testing took place in both Tokyo and Hokkaido, reflecting the collection’s dual focus on city and mountain life.

The campaign features an all-star cast of BAPE friends and collaborators, including CLOT founder Edison Chen, SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi, UNKLE’s James Lavelle, SixTONES’ JESSE, rapper Kanee, Orange Range’s Naoto Hiroyama, snowboarder Shigefumi Yoshimura, actress Riisa Naka, and designer Sean Wotherspoon.

“This collection is for people with passion. For those who are passionate about the streets of the city and the mountaintops,” says Kuraishi. “Each item was designed as a travel companion for those who are never satisfied with the ordinary and who pursue special moments with their friends. This is not just streetwear, but a tool for those who enjoy every moment of life to the fullest, whether in the city or deep snow.”
