Original Story (01/04/22): Kerwin Frost rocked the sneaker world in 2021 with his eccentric designs, including the oversized Superstar Superstuffed and the anthropomorphic “Humanchive.” The Harlem-born multi-hyphenate has now kicked off 2022 with a first look at his next adidas shoe.
Kerwin took to Instagram to share a look at his own version of the adidas Microbounce T1. It’s furry blue upper is reminiscent of the yeti tracksuit that Kerwin and adidas recently dropped, and is paired with fuzzy laces and shiny metallic silver side stripes. Additional features include Kerwin Frost branding on the tongue and ’00s-era Microbounce cushioning in blue underfoot.
Grab a first look at the Kerwin Frost x adidas Microbounce T1 below. Release info has yet be announced, but we can expect these to arrive in the coming months on adidas.com/kerwin_frost and at select retailers. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
