One of the footwear components of Kith’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection is a six-shoe collaboration with adidas Running that celebrates more than sixty years of innovation and key milestones in adidas’ performance footwear history.
Each style in the Kith Classics for adidas Heritage Running collection represents a different decade of adidas Running, from the ’70s to today. The story begins in 1972 with the SL 72 OG, known for its lightweight construction that helped revolutionize distance running. The ’80s is represented with the adidas New York, first introduced in 1983, featuring a retro webbed midsole. The Oregon Ultra Tech Runner from 1991, the Supernova Cushion 7 from the early ’00s, and the 2013 Energy Boost round out the following decades. The chosen present-day model is the Adizero Boston 13, adidas’ latest performance model built for race day and beyond.
Each shoe is equipped with a mesh upper and smooth leather overlays with metallic applique detailing that nod to archival design language. Select silhouettes feature multi-color hits on the medial, and all are complete with Kith branding on the tongue, heel, and sockliner. The shoes come in custom packaging and a commemorative co-branded runner’s bib that denotes the release year of each style.
