Longtime collaborators Kith and Columbia Sportswear reunite for the Winter 2025 season with a ski-themed “Nippon Snow Expedition” collection, marking their tenth collaboration in as many years.
The winter sports-focused collection includes apparel, accessories, and footwear featuring Japanese motifs and Nippon Snow Expedition artwork, drawing inspiration from momiji foliage, wildlife, and mountains across Japan, including Hokkaido and Mount Yōtei. Standout pieces include jackets and a full ski uniform set, complete with Omni-Heat and Omni-Tech functionalities. Loungewear, tees, and hoodies with co-branded graphics are also available, alongside duffle bags finished with custom artwork.
For footwear, the duo teams up on the Newton Alpine Hiking Boot, featuring shearling-lined interiors, hairy suede uppers, and nubuck ankle collars. Durable hardware and an Omni-MAX rubber outsole complete the winterized pair. Special all-over print packaging ties the shoes to the main collection’s artwork.
To debut the new collection, Ronnie Fieg and friends hit the slopes of Niseko, a top ski destination in Hokkaido, Japan.
Alongside Columbia, Kith also partnered with equipment manufacturers Capita, Nordica, and Union Binding Company to debut its first line of custom ski and snowboard gear. Pieces include two all-over print Capita 158 Snowboards, Nordica Enforcer 94 & Unleashed 106 Ski sets, Freeride Pro and Unlimited Ski Poles, and Strata Snowboard Bindings in two colorways. Kith also debuts its first-ever ski boot in collaboration with Nordica, the Speedmachine 3 130 S, designed for all-mountain use.
Lastly, Kith reprises its partnership with Oakley to debut a range of accessories, including Flow Scape Goggles, a MOD5 helmet, backpacks, gloves, and balaclavas. The assortment is rounded out by a range of sunglasses, including Cybr Dyno and Eye Jacket Redux silhouettes in exclusive Kith colorways.
