Kith is celebrating its 15th anniversary with Kith: The Footwear Archive, a new 444-page book published by Assouline that chronicles the New York brand through the category that first defined it: footwear.
Conceived as a catalogue raisonné, the book brings together more than 1,800 collaborative footwear models preserved in Ronnie Fieg’s personal archive, spanning the past 15 years. Alongside released and friends-and-family pairs, the book will publicly unveil a selection of previously unreleased and developmental prototypes from Fieg’s archive.
The archive covers collaborations with adidas, ASICS, Clarks Originals, Moncler, New Balance, Nike, On, Timberland, and more.
“The true DNA of the brand and what I do creatively started with footwear. This book is proof that we built something that didn’t exist before.” — Ronnie Fieg, Kith Founder and Creative Director
The book is split into two sections, with the first showcasing 700 released pairs through photography and the second indexing the archive chronologically by brand, tracing each project from initial concept to final product.
A preview of the book has also confirmed the return of the ASICS GEL-LYTE III “Salmon Toe” for Kith’s 15th anniversary. The shoe is pictured in the book with a September 28th release date, marking the latest chapter in one of Fieg’s most recognizable ASICS collaborations.

“Throughout my career, I’ve pressured myself to approach each product as a notch in my timeline—to believe the decisions I made on any given day would reverberate years later and create cohesion across my catalog,” says Fieg.
The Classic edition of Kith: The Footwear Archive launches September 30th, exactly 15 years after Kith was founded, via Kith stores worldwide, Kith.com, and the Kith App. It will also arrive at select Assouline boutiques on December 9th. A limited Ultimate Edition, consisting of 300 individually numbered copies signed by Fieg and housed in a leather clamshell with an all-over Kith monogram, also launches September 30th at select Assouline boutiques.
Ahead of the global release, Kith will display the entire footwear archive featured in the book for the first time at a special exhibition in Brooklyn from September 25th through the 27th. The exhibition will be held at 25 Kent Avenue, 6th Floor, and will be open daily from 12PM to 6PM. Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase the Classic edition early.
