Kith has announced the release of a new Marvel vs. Capcom collection inspired by the iconic crossover fighting video game series. The offering will include apparel, accessories, and an ASICS footwear range inspired by characters from both the Marvel and Capcom universes.
To debut the collection, Kith teamed up with stop-motion animation studio PlasticAction to produce a short film starring four action figures created in collaboration with Hasbro and Jada Toys. The animation features Kith-branded Wolverine and Captain America figures from Hasbro’s Marvel Legends series, alongside Mega Man and Ryu figures by Jada Toys — all duking it out on Lafayette Street in front of a miniature Kith flagship store.
In the lead-up to the unveiling, Kith released a Monday Program drop featuring a Marvel vs. Capcom arcade cabinet collab with Arcade1Up and a Kith-branded Capcom Edition Super Pocket produced with Hyper Mega Tech.
Additional pieces from the collection unveiled so far include a triptych skate deck set, posters, hats, area rugs, mouse pads, and more. Ronnie Fieg also previewed PSA-graded comic books that will accompany the ASICS footwear, spotlighting three matchups: Iron Man vs. Mega Man, Wolverine vs. Ryu, and Captain America vs. Guile.
The footwear marks the third annual Kith x Marvel x ASICS project, following the X-Men 60th Anniversary GEL-LYTE III collection in 2023 and the “Super Villains” capsule released in 2024 for Marvel’s 85th anniversary.
