Following a preview of the action figures and accessories, Kith has now shared a look at the apparel that will be releasing as part of its massive Marvel vs. Capcom collection celebrating the iconic crossover fighting game series.
The collection is divided into three parts—one dedicated to Marvel, one to Capcom, and another that features tri-branded artwork drawn from crossover screens over the years, spanning from X-Men vs Street Fighter in 1996 to the most recent Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite in 2017. Featured characters include Captain America, Iron Man, and Wolverine from the Marvel universe, and Guile, Mega Man, and Ryu from Capcom, alongside additional cameos throughout.
Standout apparel styles include a faux fur hooded jacket covered in various Marvel vs. Capcom characters, a character select screen hockey jersey, and a rugby top with all the Marvel characters on one side and the Capcom cast on the other. The range of graphics tees are designed to pair back to the ASICS collaboration, featuring corresponding characters and fighting motifs seen on the uppers and insoles. Other characters not featured in the footwear are also highlighted, including Black Panther, Magneto, Spiderman, Deadpool, Venom, and Cyclops on the Marvel side and Servbot, Akuma, Bison, and Chun Li from Capcom.
Additionally, select styles will include a special comic book as a gift with purchase while supplies last, including different variant covers that range in rarity for PSA grading potential. The one-shot comic is written by Paul Allor and drawn by Ron Lim, with the main cover drawn by Michael Shelfer and additional “Match-Up” variant covers by Todd Nauck. Marvel, Capcom, and Kith have also created a fully custom Comic Book Blind Box—separate from the footwear comic book—containing either the main comic or a custom Ryu vs. Wolverine cover which varies in color and rarity, available to buy on its own as a commemorative collectible.
