Kith Reopens Newly Redesigned West Hollywood Flagship

Sunset Blvd. will never be the same.

Kith’s West Hollywood flagship has been sitting on the lower level of 8500 Sunset Blvd. since 2018. Eight years later, Ronnie Fieg decided the lower level wasn’t enough. The brand has now taken over the ground floor too, and what’s come out of it is less a store renovation and more a full architectural statement, designed in collaboration with Ben Porto of Porto Architecture.

The corner of Sunset and La Cienega puts you squarely in the middle of Los Angeles history, and Fieg leaned into that. The exterior alone sets the tone, Resawn Kebony Shou Sugi Ban Wood Cladding paired with intentional landscaping that reads as unmistakably Californian without trying too hard.

Inside, the space is organized around a natural procession. A Mark Jupiter-designed wood tambour concierge desk anchors your entry. The Men’s section features concrete flooring layered with rugs, travertine accents, and Venetian-plaster walls. The Footwear Gallery cuts through the middle, its curved layout giving sightlines from every angle. Standard in every Kith flagship, but the execution here earns its place. The Women’s section follows with Calacatta Vagli stone thresholds and a room-by-room intimacy built for the brand’s multi-brand assortment and WeHo-exclusive edits. Kith Kids then welcomes you with Emerald Quartzite, Rosa Aurora, and Mediterranean Blue Stone checkered cubbies, cloud motifs, and Mint Kith Monogram wallpaper, playful but still Kith.

Two additions make this flagship unlike any other Kith location. The Apothecary carves out a space for fragrance, essential oils, and wellness that feels organic to the overall edit. Then there’s the VIP Studio with panoramic views of Downtown LA, Kith Monogram velvet wallpaper, moody Dark Blackened Oak finishes and a custom Kith Records McIntosh sound system that is genuinely no joke: screen-printed face plates, two turntables, two amps, and dual floor-standing XKRT1.1K speakers running 70 drivers each. A retractable ceiling projector and a private changing room round it out. It’s a room built for an experience.

But the real conversation starter might be Ronnie’s Pronto, which is new territory altogether. Fieg’s latest hospitality concept is a grab-and-go counter, hence the name, with outside seating. They’re offering a menu rooted in New York classics with breakfast and lunch sandwiches, bowls and salads. An espresso bar with ceremonial-grade matcha in partnership with Nodoka anchors the drinks side, and Kith Treats is in there too, running its full Signature Specials menu alongside local exclusives.

To mark the occasion, Kith is bringing back its New Balance partnership for the third time this year, and this time with a MADE in USA 99X Series collection spanning the 990v3, 990v4, 992, and 993, all rendered in Kith’s signature palette.

Drawings open May 8th through May 10th, with West Hollywood getting exclusive early access on opening day. Additional pairs drop on Monday, May 11th at 11 AM in-store, online, and via the Kith App across the New York, London, Paris, and Tokyo time zones.

If you’re in Los Angeles, the flagship opens its doors on Friday, May 8th at 10am, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9am. Between Ronnie’s Pronto, the VIP Studio, and the New Balance drop, there’s more than enough reason to show up in person. Check out photos of the newly redesigned space below.
