Original Story (05/30/25): Nike is continuing to honor Kobe Bryant’s Mamba Mentality with a series of Air Force 1s slated to release in 2025. Following the reveal of the “Triple White” colorway, we now have a first look at an upcoming “Court Purple” edition.
The latest Mamba Mentality Air Force 1 features a purple snakeskin upper, paying homage to one of the Los Angeles Lakers’ signature colors, while the textured reptilian finish is a direct nod to Kobe’s Black Mamba persona.
Details include “Mamba Forever” etched on the lace dubraes and Kobe’s jersey numbers 8 and 24 embroidered on the heels, tying the sneaker closely to the late legend’s on-court legacy.

Update (09/29/25): The Kobe Air Force 1 “Court Purple” officially drops October 1st. The Better Generation, the retailer co-founded by NBA star PJ Tucker and Brandon Davis, has announced a FCFS release on the Better+ App. Shoe Palace also has them loaded on their release calendar. Stay tuned for a possible wider release to follow on SNKRS and at additional retailers.
