Ksubi has just unleashed its second Juice WRLD 999 collection to the world, following a sold-out pre-release in Chicago back in December in honor of Juice WRLD Day 2023.
The 17-piece collection features some of Ksubi’s iconic denim styles, such as the Chitch Jean and Classic Jacket, which are offered in black and elevated through the use of wax coating. The collection also features two long-sleeve button-down shirts, including an overdyed checkered iteration and a light-wash denim covered in 999 logo embroidery. Other styles include a varsity jacket, graphic tees, pullover and zip-up hoodies, and trucker hats.
The collection also introduces two new denim silhouettes from the global streetwear brand. A carpenter-style wide leg jean known as the Maxx Operator is offered in a light blue stone wash and features 999 logo embroidery across the carpenter panels, matching the previously mentioned long-sleeve denim shirt. The second is the Bronko Cargo, a bootleg jean featuring cargo pockets and a buttoned hem for a stacked aesthetic. This style is offered in black with vintage aging treatments and Ksubi x Juice WRLD branded hardware.
The global launch is accompanied by a star-studded campaign that features some of Juice WRLD’s close friends and collaborators, including Polo G, Ski Mask The Slump God, producers Haan and Nick Mira, and DJ Scheme. The campaign video was done by legendary director Steve Cannon and features footage from Juice WRLD Day 2023, never-before-seen footage of Juice WRLD, as well as additional footage shot in various locations in Los Angeles. There are also cameos from the next generation of rappers that look to Juice WRLD for inspiration, such as Luh Tyler, JehKai, DD Osama, and Stunna Gambino.
The partnership between global streetwear brand Ksubi and Juice WRLD’s 999 Club serves as a celebration of the life and legacy of Juice WRLD, who encapsulated the Ksubi ethos of the rebellious individual who did things his own way and expressed himself via different avenues. The pieces in the collection draw inspiration from Juice WRLD’s music, his connection to art, his unique lived experience, and his personal mantra of taking all negative in life and reversing it into something positive.
“We’re excited to continue our partnership with Ksubi,” says Peter Jideonwo, Manager of Juice WRLD and COO of Grade A Productions. “Our goal is to push creativity and innovation while changing the game.”
Ksubi x Juice WRLD 999 2.0 is available starting today, January 18th, via Ksubi.com, all Ksubi stores, 999club.com, as well as at select retailers such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Culture Kings. Check out the product shots and campaign imagery below.
