After years of being one of the most requested franchises among LEGO fans, Dragon Ball is finally getting its own set. LEGO has officially unveiled its first-ever Dragon Ball release, bringing together two of the series’ most recognizable characters in a 1,764-piece display model.
Dubbed Shenron & Goku, the set takes inspiration from the early days of Akira Toriyama’s legendary manga and anime series. At the center is Shenron, the wish-granting dragon summoned by gathering all seven Dragon Balls, recreated in a dramatic coiled pose that wraps around the display. The green dragon features a sculpted body, flowing scales, extended claws, and a gold-colored underbelly, with red accents adding contrast throughout the build.
The dragon rises from a base featuring all seven Dragon Balls, while a LEGO plaque bearing the original Dragon Ball manga logo ties the display back to the series’ beginnings. There’s also plenty of movement built into the design, with repositionable claws and an adjustable head allowing builders to change up Shenron’s pose.
Joining the display is Kid Goku, making his debut as a LEGO minifigure. Complete with his signature orange gi, spiky black hair, and Saiyan tail, the young fighter comes equipped with his Power Pole and Nimbus Cloud. The figure can be detached from the display and posed riding his flying cloud, adding another familiar moment from the series to the build.
Standing approximately 12.5 inches tall and 9 inches wide, the finished model is designed to make a statement without taking over an entire shelf. The set also includes access to 3D building instructions through the LEGO Builder app.
LEGO’s first Dragon Ball set will be available November 4th via LEGO.com and LEGO Stores, with early access available starting November 1st for LEGO Insiders members. Check out the set below.
