LEGO FIFA World Cup Messi Cristiano Mbappe Vini Release Date

With the 2026 FIFA World Cup just months away, LEGO is making sure fans have something to build toward. The toy giant just unveiled its new LEGO Editions soccer collection, and the lineup is exactly as stacked as you’d expect. Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappé, and Vini Jr. are all getting their own sets, and this marks the first time any of the four have appeared as official LEGO minifigures.

The collection spans several formats. The entry point is the Soccer Highlights series, where each player gets their own letter-shaped diorama base, think Ronaldo’s initials in Portugal’s colors, Mbappé’s M nodding to the French tricolor, Messi’s M in sky blue and white, and Vini Jr.’s V wrapped in Brazil’s green and yellow. Each one includes a collectible plaque, a player minifigure, and hidden easter eggs that reference the respective athlete’s career for those paying close enough attention.

For collectors looking to go bigger, there are two Soccer Legend sets for Messi and Ronaldo. The Ronaldo version gives you the choice between recreating his signature “Siuuu” celebration or his iconic bicycle kick, while the Messi Football Legend set lets you choose between his victory sky-point pose or a dribble-in-motion build. Both come with larger backdrops and printed name plaques.

And for anyone who wants to go all out, there’s also a LEGO Editions Lionel Messi Celebration set. A 1,427-piece wall art piece of Messi mid-celebration with his back turned, showing off not only his jersey but also his tattoos, that doubles as a display piece.

To announce the new collaboration, LEGO released a commercial starring the four soccer superstars—Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappé, and Vini Jr.—as they come together to assemble the LEGO FIFA World Cup Official Trophy Set that launched back in March.
