Levi’s and Jordan Brand are collaborating once again to launch a new collection centered on the Air Jordan 3, reimagined with denim craftsmanship. This collection honors the legacies of both brands, which resonate with various subcultures, including skaters, musicians, athletes, and more. It features a complete range of apparel along with four unique colorways of the Air Jordan 3.

The Air Jordan 3 is reimagined in four colorways: “Rigid,” “Black,” “Year of the Horse,” and a Los Angeles exclusive colorway, “City of Angels,” available during the NBA All-Star Weekend.

The “Rigid” colorway leans into Levi’s core identity, with premium indigo denim panels and black-on-black elephant print, nodding to one of the Air Jordan 3’s most recognizable design signatures. Meanwhile, the “Black” colorway takes a more refined approach, combining pebbled black leather with black denim panels and a black denim backside that reveals lighter grey tones for contrast. The pair is finished with an embroidered black denim heel piece featuring the Nike Air embroidery, a first-of-its-kind construction detail!

This collection also taps into seasonal storytelling with the “Year of the Horse” colorway created specifically for Lunar New Year celebrations. This version uses unbleached rigid ecru denim, premium pony hair panels, a jacquard heel tab, and a red chain-stitch “Year of the Horse” text on the interior tongue. It’s slated as an exclusive release for Greater China, Japan, and Korea.

Rounding out the lineup is the “City of Angels” colorway. This pair takes an elevated approach with pebbled leather and strategic blue denim accents, while the interior tongue features red chain-stitching reading “City of Angels.”

Across all four versions, Levi’s and Jordan Brand keep the branding cohesive: each pair features a Levi’s Red Tab on the wearer’s right shoe, classic Jumpman branding, and red insole artwork with Levi’s signature dollar-bill graphic reading “This is a pair of Levi’s.”

Beyond footwear, the collaboration lands with a nine-piece apparel collection. The most statement-driven piece is the Pinnacle Varisty Jacket, featuring leather sleeves, a melton wool body, quilted stain lining, and vintage-inspired graphics pulled from both brands’ archives, including a patch nodding to Michael Jordan’s Bulls legacy. The Football Jersey is cut with a cropped boxy fit in shiny polyester and finished with co-branded jock-tag detailing.

Some staples in the collection include a boxy, cropped Type III Tucker in black-washed denim with an oversized Wings logo, an indigo Overshirt Jacket in 12-ounce rinsed denim, and a heavyweight Fleece Zip Hoodie with co-branded artwork and a two-way zipper. The collection’s Short Sleeve Shirt revives Levi’s classic ’90s “Button Your Fly” graphic, which is famously tied to Spike Lee’s cultural campaign, bringing the slogan back as one of the collection’s loudest heritage moments.

Bottoms include the Black Baggy Jean, which is built on the Levi’s 578 block with a longer inseam for stacking, Baggy Shorts with deep pleats in rinsed indigo denim, and a finishing accessory: an indigo Denim Cap with direct embroidery, a Levi’s Red Tab hit at the brim, and Nike Air-branded antique brass hardware.

To bring the concept to life, the campaign is styled by Cam Hicks and staged at a park setting, where multiple communities appear in the collection side by side. Spike Lee also appears in the rollout alongside bucket drummer Jay Wright, skater Josh Velez, and artist Rio Amor, reinforcing the collection’s theme that greatness lives in craft, dedication, and community.

The Levi’s x Jordan collection will release globally on the Levi’s website, the Levi’s App, and select Levi’s and Jordan Brand stores on February 20th (SNKRS on February 21st). The “Year of the Horse” Air Jordan 3 will release in China on January 24th, followed by Japan and Korea on January 30th. The “Rigid” and “Black” colorways will see an early release on February 5-7 in San Francisco (1 Montgomery St) for Super Bowl LX ahead of the global launch. The “City of Angels” colorway will be released exclusively in Los Angeles. It will be first available at UNDEFEATED (raffle), then at Levi’s Century City on February 13th at 9am, first come first served.

Levi’s also notes that product will be available via draws on Levi’s EQL that open 24 hours before launch. Check out the preview below.
