Levi’s and Japanese fashion brand sacai are teaming up for the third time, continuing their ongoing reinterpretation of classic denim through sacai creative director Chitose Abe’s signature approach to deconstruction and reconstruction.
The latest collection consists of 12 pieces across men’s and women’s styles, centered around four key silhouettes: the Sherpa Jacket, Blouson Jacket, Belted Wide Pants, and Belted Flare Pants. Each style comes in two variations, rigid indigo and washed indigo.
The Levi’s x sacai Sherpa Jacket features a relaxed fit crafted from indigo selvedge denim and wrapped in faux sherpa, with real leather pocket details. The Blouson Jacket offers a cleaner take on the collaboration’s outerwear, retaining sacai’s signature sleeve pockets alongside elastic cuffs and hem for a more sculpted shape. The women’s version also features side seam slits.
For the bottoms, the Belted Wide Pants return in a loose, mid-rise fit with sacai’s custom buttons integrated into the belt loops. The Belted Flare Pants offer a standard rise and flared silhouette, with a seven-pocket construction created by layering welt-style back pockets over traditional pockets.
As with previous releases, contrasting textures and familiar Levi’s patterns are reconstructed into unexpected shapes, giving each piece sacai’s distinct hybrid aesthetic. The matching washes also allow the jackets and pants to be worn together as coordinated sets or separately.
The Levi’s x sacai FW26 collection launches September 29th at a special pop-up at Landmark Hong Kong, followed by a global release on September 30th and a Japan release on October 1st via sacai.jp, Levi.com, and select retailers.
