With the world’s biggest soccer tournament landing on American soil this summer, Levi’s just dropped its U.S. Soccer collection, and it hits exactly the way you’d want it to.
The navy-wash Type I trucker jacket with the embroidered “United States/Sweet Land of Liberty” map graphic on the back is the standout piece and just the kind of thing that gets stolen from your closet after a couple of years.T he light-wash Type II version keeps it cleaner, with just the USA crest on the back, and the red rounds out the trio for anyone who wants a pop of color in their wardrobe. Beyond the jackets, the lineup covers the basics well: the 478™ Baggy Shorts, two bandana colorways, a Retro Ringer Tee, a Mini Ringer Tee, and a tote, all working within that classic red, white, and blue palette.
Kids of Immigrants co-founders Daniel Buezo and Weleh Dennis front the campaign, bringing a strong sense of community to the rollout. The short film finds them and their crew taking over an empty American football stadium after dark to watch the U.S. Soccer Team play on the Jumbotron, highlighting the cultural significance of the tournament’s return to the U.S. for the first time in 30 years.
The USMNT opens group stage play on June 12 against Paraguay in Los Angeles, and Levi’s clearly wants fans dressed before kickoff. The collection is now live on the Levi’s website, select Levi’s retail stores, and the U.S. Soccer Store.
