Original Story (11/15/23): Lil Yachty is having way too much fun with Instagram’s new Close Friends posting feature. After sharing a first look at the upcoming Cactus Plant Flea Market x Denim Tears x Levi’s collab on the timeline, the ATL artist has now leaked his own Air Force 1 collaboration with Nike.
This AF-1 marks the first ever collab between Boat and Nike, and is actually a collaboration with Yachty’s label Concrete Boys. The shoe comes equipped with a classic white leather upper with dark navy hits on the sockliner and outsole. Special branding is found throughout the design. Yachty’s “Its Us” ad-lib appears on the tongues and insoles, while the Concrete Boys mascot, a stick figure wielding a sledgehammer, appears on the lateral heel. There is also a C logo found on the back of the heels. All of these logos are also found on the shoe’s packaging.
The Concrete Boys AF-1 is currently not expected to get a public release, though stay tuned for any possible updates. Check ’em out in the photos below.
Update (10/28/24): Almost a year since the initial reveal, we now have an update on the Concrete Boys x Nike Air Force 1. Initially expected to be F&F exclusive, the shoe will release Holiday 2024 on SNKRS and at select retailers. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for more.
Update (11/07/24): Retailer photos of the Concrete Boys x Nike Air Force 1 have arrived, confirming the upcoming launch. The retail version is slightly different than the F&F pairs, featuring matching Concrete Boys branding on the heels instead of two different logos. Check them out below.
Update (11/23/24): The raffle for Lil Yachty’s “Us Force 1” has opened on yachty.shop. A SNKRS release will follow on December 2nd. For the launch, Lil Yachty and Concrete Boys shot a couple episodes of “the offUS,” a parody of The Office. Check them out below.
