Nike & Martine Rose Unveil Gaming-Inspired Sport Collection

Martine Rose and Nike continue their long-standing partnership with a collaboration that puts gamers at the forefront as the new athletes of a modern arena, celebrating esports and the gaming community.

The Nike x Martine Rose Sport collection features footwear, apparel offerings, and accessories inspired by the evolving world of performance and play. Martine’s Shox MR4, introduced in 2022, returns in bold red and sleek white colorways. The silhouette serves as a reimagining of the 2000 Nike Shox R4, transforming the iconic running model into a fashion-forward mule with an elevated heel and squared-off toe that blend formal tailoring with athletic design language.

The white colorway made its debut earlier this year at EVO 2025, where professional gamer SonicFox wore the pair while securing their eighth Evo Championship title in Mortal Kombat 1.

The apparel lineup includes football kits, hoodies, shorts, and fleece pants, drawing from the spirit and energy of ‘90s LAN parties—spaces defined by connection, creativity, and friendly competition. A water-repellent, sweat-wicking ski parka reinterprets an archival ‘90s ACG jacket from the Department of Nike Archives, while a versatile cross-body bag offers on-the-go storage for everyday essentials. The collection is rounded out by an exclusive gaming chair in white, red, and black, emblazoned with Martine Rose Sport branding.

“The world of competitive gaming informed every aspect of our new collection,” says Martine. “As with any sport uniform, each piece is fit for purpose and has to suit the task. This apparel line is all about comfort, mobility and flexibility. We really wanted the collection to have this relaxed mood both inspired by gamers and made for the way they compete.”

The collection’s campaign captures the intersection of sport, identity, and culture, featuring a cast of elite gamers as digital athletes: ANa, Billy Mitchell, Scarlett, SonicFox, and TenZ. The nostalgic aesthetic pays homage to vintage Nike ads featuring the top athletes of their era.

“Gaming is a new lens into how we view sport, and I want to help expand that lens,” says Martine. “I’ve always been interested in finding the corners of mainstream cultures and shining a light on them through fashion, and this collaboration with Nike offers a unique opportunity to do that in a way that’s authentic to gamers and their communities.”

The Nike x Martine Rose Sport collection will be available globally on October 30th via SNKRS and select retailers. The red MR4 will be available exclusively at Martine Rose stores. Check out the preview and campaign shots below.
