Marvel & BAPE Unite for 'FANTASTIC FOUR' Collection

A BATHING APE and Marvel are celebrating the recent release of the new MCU film The Fantastic Four: First Steps with a limited-edition collaboration paying tribute to Marvel’s first family.

Originally created in 1961 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Fantastic Four is widely regarded as the first true “superhero team” in the Marvel Universe. Drawing inspiration from their comic book appearances, the collection includes five BAPE STA sneaker colorways, each representing a different character. A “Mr Fantastic & The Invisible Woman” pair comes in blue, white, and black colorway, inspired by the F4 team uniforms. The “Human Torch” colorway comes in a fiery red, while The Thing’s pair comes in orange and black with a blue STA logo. The lineup also includes two pairs for the Fantastic Four’s iconic villains, one for Doctor Doom and the other for Galactus and Silver Surfer.

Each pair features BAPE STA’s iconic patent leather construction, a graphic of their respective character on the lateral left heel, an embroidered Marvel logo on the lateral right heel, and custom graphic insoles. These come in action figure-inspired blister packaging, just like previous Marvel x BAPE STA releases.

The footwear is accompanied by four graphic t-shirts, each available in black and white colorways. One tee features the full Fantastic Four team, another features Galactus and Silver Surfer, the third features Dr. Doom, and the fourth features the Fantastic Four logo.
