Medicom Toy’s iconic BE@RBRICK brand teams up with Japanese loungewear company Gelato Pique for their first-ever collaboration.
Gelato Pique is known for its signature “Gelato” material, describing it as “a softly baked sponge cake, surprisingly soft and unforgettable.” This fabric is used throughout the unisex collection, with pieces including a fluffy hoodie with ears, matching bottoms, pullover crewnecks, tees, and onesies. Accessories include a Gelato blanket and slippers. Everything comes in either a blue mint or beige colorway.
Aside from the apparel collection, Medicom Toy and Gelato Pique present two colorways of the iconic BE@RBRICK figure in 400% and 1000% sizing. The BE@RBRICKs have clear bodies and are outfitted in cozy pajamas with a “P” badge embellishment on the chest.
The Medicom Toy BE@RBRICK x Gelato Pique collection is available now on the Gelato Pique website and at its flagship location in NYC. The BE@RBRICKs will launch later this year via MCT Tokyo, though are also available for pre-order at select retailers such as Sideshow Collectibles.
