Designer Caterina Mongillo, better known as Metagirl, brings her signature hyper-feminine touch to Saucony with a new collaboration dubbed “Daughter of the Moon.”
The Metagirl Studio x Saucony Paramount is themed after an ancient tale of a stormy night at sea when a bolt of lightning struck the ocean. As the clouds faded away, the moonlight glistened again, and washed ashore was a Daughter of the Moon.
Metagirl reimagines the ProGrid Paramount, a 2000s mesh runner pulled from the archive, with otherworldly details: a 3D-printed, shell-shaped heel panel housing a pearl, sand-textured midsoles, and perforated aluminum silver leather overlays that shimmers like moonlight on water. Soft organza ruffles accent the upper, reinforcing the coquette aesthetic.
The Metagirl Studio x Saucony Paramount “Daughter of the Moon” launches August 29th at 11:11am ET on metagirlstudio.com.
