Minted New York & Saucony are Dropping a “Chromium” Racing Shoe

The metallic silver colorway nods to mylar blankets.

Minted New York is launching a new racing shoe in collaboration with Saucony, reimagining the Endorphin Pro 5 silhouette that debuted earlier this year.

The monochromatic “Chromium” pair features metallic silver hits across the upper and midsole, a nod to the mylar blankets used by runners after finishing a race to help regulate their body temperature and prevent conditions like hypothermia. A touch of blue appears on the Minted branding at the lateral heel, adding a pop of color to the chromed-out design—a subtle callback to the all-blue Endorphin Speed 4 the duo released in 2024.

The accompanying campaign imagery places the premium carbon-plated race shoe against a darkened backdrop, emphasizing the pair’s glistening finish and how its reflective detailing comes to life in motion.

The Minted NY x Saucony Endorphin Pro 5 “Chromium” will first be available at the Minted NY x Saucony London pop-up on May 16th at Saucony’s Covent Garden store. Global releases will follow on May 19th at 11am ET on the Minted New York website and May 21st via Saucony.com. Check them out below.
