After releasing a handful of footwear collaborations over the last couple years, Salomon and MM6 Maison Margiela are now gearing up to release their first full ready-to-wear collection.
The collection of garments and accessories blends MM6 Maison Margiela’s sophisticated and iconic styles with Salomon’s cutting-edge activewear technology and manufacturing process, creating an urban wardrobe of simple shapes crafted in black and the House’s iconic nude shade.
The apparel in the capsule is split into two sections: GORE-TEX and Seamless. Stretch seamless technology leggings and long-sleeved crew-neck tops provide a fitted, anatomic look, while breathable, water-repellant GORE-TEX is applied to trench coats, a straight-leg five-pocket pant, zipped windbreakers, and oversized button-down shirts.
The FW24 capsule also features footwear, including a revisit of the ACS PRO in sleek concrete grey with muted silver accents or in a rubberized matte black with a contrasting glossy tar-black exoskeleton. The CROSS LOW also gets two fresh color treatments, with striking tonal combos of bubblegum pink and bright red or an almond and army green version offset with an acid yellow detail on the heel encased with dark forest green.
Rounding out the offering is an MM6 reconfiguration of Salomon’s classic TRAILBLAZER 20 backpack in black or natural mastic ripstop nylon, enhanced with multiple pockets to offer new functionality for urban landscapes.
The MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon Autumn-Winter 2024 ready-to-wear capsule will be available November 7th on Salomon.com (9am ET), the MM6 Maison Margiela website, and select retailers. Check out the preview below.
