MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon continue their fusion of high fashion with sportswear with a new collection for Fall/Winter 2025 comprised of apparel, footwear, and accessories.
Expanding on their partnership that began in 2022, this collection introduces a new XT-MM6 silhouette, a modified version of the XT-6 trail runner that has been adapted for smooth strides and with a form fit for the city. Available in three distinct colorways—”Cherry Tomato,” “Black,” and “Vanilla Ice”—the shoe features all the technical features of the XT-6, such as the signature agileCHASSIS System and SensiFit construction, though the lugged outsole has been replaced with a smoother Road contaGRIP sole designed for flat surfaces. Co-branding on the mesh upper and insole completes the look, featuring Margiela’s iconic Numerical Code with a circled number “6” to spotlight Margiela’s MM6 line.
The collection also features two new colorways of the MM6 Salomon ACS Pro in “White” and “Blazing Yellow,” adding to the three iterations introduced in Fall/Winter 2023. The sleek “White” ACS Pro offers a clean, tonal look with gradient gray accents, while the “Blazing Yellow” colorway comes in yellow, gray, and black for a bolder statement. Both styles feature a synthetic upper, 3D mesh, and an exoskeleton design for breathable durability.
Rounding out the collection are avant-garde pieces fit for everyday wear that capture both French labels’ shared ethos. The Waterproof Down Parka features a fully waterproof shell with sealed seams, an adjustable hood, and MM6’s signature horizontal white stitch line. The Reversible Insulated Jacket includes quilted padding, a subtle chest logo, and MM6’s signature numeric logo on the back. Other key pieces include a cozy fleece High-Neck Crewneck Pullover, a Motomesh Long-Sleeve Crewneck Pullover with a reworked Salomon link logo, and matching Motomesh Pants. Lastly, the XT-15 hiking bag, offered in classic black, features both brands’ logos as a prominent graphic element.
