MM6 Maison Margiela and Dr. Martens are back with their second collaboration, a new footwear capsule that reinvents iconic silhouettes through a playful mix of shoemaking heritage and progressive design.
Classic Dr. Martens styles are reworked through MM6’s subversive lens—distorting the familiar to create something unexpected. The capsule features two hybrid styles. The first is a 1460 boot / 1461 shoe mashup enhanced with a bump toe, adorned with an embossed MM6 Maison Margiela numeric artwork on the ankle. The second fuses the 1461 3-eye shoe with the Penton Loafer, combining the structure of a lace-up with the ease of a slip-on.
Both styles are crafted from a mix of Smooth and Virginia leather, with tonal welt stitching and DM’s bouncing sole. Each come in a distinct white-on-white finish, nodding to MM6’s core aesthetic and the paint-drenched DM’s from the avant-garde Parisian label’s SS25 show.
