The Brooklyn Museum, located of course in Brooklyn, NY, is currently home to a much talked about exhibit that paints a picture for the outside world of what’s been going on in our day to day lives for the past several years.
The Rise of Sneaker Culture exhibit did its best to clue people in to what we see in sneakers (far more than just something to protect our fleshy feet from hitting the ground) and what makes a sneaker special. The exhibit is open for some time, we highly recommend you take a look yourself. The showing will last until October 4th, so be sure to make your way to the center of the universe, aka NYC, sometime between now and then. Though it’s not perfect, one must realize you can never perfectly paint the picture for someone on the outside, but we must say they did a bang up job. From Run DMC to the latest Yeezy 750 Boosts, the entire spectrum is represented. Scroll through for a look into the exhibit.
