Naruto Shippuden x Converse Chuck Taylor Pack Release Date

Original Story (04/14/25): Converse is releasing a trio of Chuck Taylor All Stars inspired by characters from the hit manga and anime series Naruto Shippuden.

The pack includes three colorways of the classic canvas high-top sneaker, each representing a different shinobi from the series. The “Naruto” colorway comes in Uzumaki Naruto’s classic orange and is adorned with the Eight Sign Seal located on his abdomen that seals the Nine-Tails within him. The “Sasuke” colorway is inspired by Sasuke Uchiha’s off-white robe and purple rope belt and features the cursed mark he received from Orochimaru. Lastly, the “Gaara” colorway is inspired by his crimson red Kazekage outfit. It features the “愛” symbol from his forehead on the lateral side panel, while the midsole receives cracked texture finish and is decorated with the symbol found on his sand gourd.

Each pair of Naruto x Converse Chuck Taylors replaces the usual All Star patch with a 3D metallic silver iteration, inspired by a shinobi’s weapon of choice: the shuriken. The shoes also feature bumper plates on the back of the midsoles that are designed to look like each character’s metal forehead protectors—Hidden Leaf for Naruto, crossed-out Hidden Leaf for Sasuke, and Hidden Sand for Gaara.

The Naruto Shippuden x Converse Chuck Taylor collection is set to drop on May 22nd via Converse.com and select retailers. Check out all three colorways below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.

Update (05/16/25): Converse has officially revealed its collaboration with Naruto Shippuden, featuring four Chuck Taylor All Star styles (Naruto, Sasuke, Gaara, and a newly unveiled Kakashi colorway) as well an Itachi colorway of the Converse Weapon. Fans can also create their own customizable designs through Converse by You as part of this collaboration.

In addition to footwear, the collection includes an assortment of apparel inclusive of tees, hoodies, and backpacks. An Andover Jacket features embroidered graphics inspired by Itachi, while a t-shirt boasts a bold graphic print inspired by Sasuke. The One Star tee features a striking graphic print inspired by Naruto, and the Baby Tee showcases a graphic print inspired by Sakura.
