Yohji Yamamoto’s Y-3 has teamed up with Japanese streetwear brand NEIGHBORHOOD to launch a collaborative motorsport collection for Fall/Winter 2025, paying homage to the rich motorcycle subcultures of America and Japan.
Unveiled earlier this year during Paris Fashion Week, the collection features a Y-3 x NBHD version of the Nizzastar Lo — a hybrid model that combines the iconic shell toe with the classic ’70s Nizza silhouette. The capsule also includes co-branded tees by Wales-based David Gwyther (aka Death Spray Custom), adorned with scorpion, frog, and moth motifs. Leather racer jackets and matching pants, crafted in collaboration with Italian motorsport company Dainese, round out the offering alongside other racing-inspired apparel.
The accompanying campaign, shot by Japanese photographer Takay, sets the collection against a stark monochromatic backdrop and spotlights a custom motorcycle assembled by Tokyo-based Cherry’s Company.
The NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas Y-3 Fall/Winter 2025 collection launches October 25th on the adidas website and at ComplexCon Las Vegas, where the brand will host a dedicated booth featuring the customized motorbike and helmets alongside the full collection. Check out the campaign shots below.
